Chief Technology Officer/Math Specialist
I am a technology guru that has spent the majority of my career working in pension administration. I majored in Mathematics at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I have over 25 years of coaching experience in both basketball and football. I am very happy to mentor and/or help youth struggling with mathematics. I also love to teach the game of basketball and football.
I have always known I wanted to teach math since I was 7. I would always pretend teach my dolls and even a friend that lived near me. My fate was confirmed in 6th grade when I was the only one that passed a math test with flying colors. I've taught/tutored math on all levels, from elementary all the way through college. I absolutely love math. It's basically in my DNA!

Larry Garcia has an associate degree in electronics from Florida Keys Community College, an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in education from McDaniel College. While he studied painting, he always had a natural interest in math and science. His teaching career spanned thirty years as a Math teacher, including five years as a department head and twelve years as the Master Scheduler. His art background made teaching Geometry his first choice with pre-Algebra and Algebra close behind. He successfully passed his love of math to his younger daughter who has a undergraduate degree in math and currently works for the government as a mathematician.
